Back from speaking in southwestern Minnesota

Just got back from my first road trip to southwestern Minnesota where I spoke at three events. First, I spoke to a group of about 56 women in Pipestone at the beautiful historic Calumet Inn. After my husband ran up the street to get some necessary equipment, we got my wireless sound system up and running. Thankfully, we arrived very early. After lunch, we drove to Lake Wilson where our overnight hostess gave us time to rest before speaking to the Slayton After Five Christian Women's Club. Back to Lake Wilson to visit with our wonderful hostess, LaDonne, before hitting the hay for a 6:15 AM wake-up call. LaDonne fixed us a light breakfast snack, we prayed and then were off to Worthington for a breakfast meeting. Yummy food and great ladies, a much bigger group this time. My message was well received  and many women took home my handout, "Get Rid of Resentment". I am praying for those women to be serious about their commitments to forgive someone in their lives that has been a struggle up to this point.

My next speaking engagements are in Red Wing and Rochester on November 11 and 12 respectively.

Stonecroft Speaking Kick-off

My next speaking engagements are Tuesday, August 13, 2013. I will be speaking at the Edina Country Club at 9:00 a.m. and again at noon for the Eden Prairie Women's Connection which meets at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 13600 Technology Dr., Eden Prairie, MN. If you wish to attend the Eden Prairie meeting, call Michele Obermeier for a reservation at 952-994-3324. She can give you contact information for the Edina event as well. I hope to see some familiar faces there.

Girl Accepts Christ at Jail Ministry

Before I became an official Stonecroft speaker, I had the honor of speaking at a jail ministry meeting for ex-offenders. I've never been so warmly welcomed and loved-on in my life. During my speech, I was encouraged with "Amens" and many nodding heads, even a few laughs in appropriate places. And God worked in the heart of a fifteen-year-old girl who gave her life to Christ that night. All praises and honor and glory to you, God!!!

Certification Complete

I am finally a certified Stonecroft Ministries speaker. Dodie Davis, my speaking coach, and two others critiqued my speech on Monday and gave me great feedback. I am now ready and excited to share my story as well as the gospel wherever I am sent. Praise be to God.

Dancing For Jesus Worship Event

Dancing for Jesus recently hosted their worship experience at Riverside Church in Monticello, MN. Here are some of the girls dancing to "Jesus Friend of Sinners" by Casting Crowns. They also danced at a benefit concert for Place of Hope in St. Cloud, recently. You might want to check out the lyrics for this song. It's revealing and healing at the same time. Dancing For Jesus will have their next worship time May 18, 2013 at 3:00 at Riverside Church. No tickets are required. This is a time to worship God with our bodies and eyes and ears. You will be greatly blessed by this experience. I hope you will come.

One step done, one to go for ministry

After many revisions, prayer and some phone conversations, Stonecroft Ministries has finally approved my speech. Next step is to present it before a committee of Stonecroft speakers who will evaluate my speaking abilities. Stonecroft Ministries introduces women to Jesus Christ.Across the street and around the world, thousands of Stonecroft-equipped volunteers share the Gospel.Through all outreach means, Stonecroft women share the life-giving truth about how to know God, made possible by the Cross.

I've been practicing my presentation in the living room to my empty chairs but my daughters and husband have gladly volunteered to sit in those chairs so I can speak to a real audience. I'm wondering if they will be my harshest critics or my biggest supporters? Nah, I know they will be kind in the critiquing as well as encouraging.

Forgiveness Ministries Blog Launch

I've been praying about this forgiveness ministry for many years but have been busy living my life and learning how to forgive, first. Makes sense, huh? I am working with an organization that helps people refine their speeches so they can get out there and help others learn about forgiveness. Wow, I'm really so close to starting my speaking ministry that I'm getting Holy Ghost bumps. Please pray that my ministry touches many lives for God. God Bless.
